Baby massage

Baby Massage – understanding your baby 1 to 9 months

Baby massage

Baby massage has been used by many cultures throughout the ages and research has shown that it has many benefits.

Massage can help you to understand and respond to your baby’s body language. It is a wonderful way to make your baby feel loved and cared for and a great way for you and your baby to relax and spend quality time together.

Massage is something you do with rather than to your baby and its fun to discover which way suits your baby best. You will also learn a little more about your baby’s non-verbal behavior and how to use massage techniques to help ease the discomfort of colic, help your baby develop a regular sleep routine and generally become more confident in caring for and understanding your child.

You will massage your own baby whilst being guided through a step-by-step massage routine which the course facilitator demonstrates on a doll.

Classes meet for five weekly sessions and last for approximately one and a half hours, allowing time for individual attention, group discussions and refreshments. A course book, massage oil, pens, leaflets, information and other gifts are also provided!
