New Sunlight football school

Sunlight staff and football clubs attended a fundraising event Saturday 10^th July at Woodlands School organised to support two causes, Sunlight Football School and the Support our Soldiers charity.

There were 8 local teams competing on the football field at the event. AFC Sunlight ended up lifting the trophy with Real Sunlight coming 3^rd. Both teams played in good spirits and had loads of fun.

We had a busy day with lots of young people and parents attending. We made a few new friends and created awareness of the new football club.

We are not sure yet how much we raised but we will let you know either here or in the local paper.

The Sunlight Football School meet at Sunlight to practice every Monday and Tuesday evening. Ages of club members are between 5 and 15.

The main club focus is to build confidence, fitness, team building and friendship.
