Domestic Abuse can be experienced by anyone, regardless of age, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, culture or religion. Sunlight is supporting Kent Integrated Domestic Abuse Service and Medway Domestic Abuse Services’ 16 Days of Action campaign with a social media campaign and supporting literature. The campaign starts on 25 December.
In the run up to our Christmas Craft Fayre on December 4, Sunlight Centre is running free weekly craft workshops for the community. Crafts are designed to be simple but impactful, giving beneficiaries something special to take home and building their creative confidence. Items include Christmas cards, tree baubles and glitter glass.
Sunlight Development Trust is delighted to announce that its High Hopes Community Garden will be a beneficiary of the Co-op Local Community Fund for the next 12 months The generosity of Co-op members will allow the Trust to replace the unsafe wooden steps up to the garden with a metal staircase, and build a weatherproof log cabin for extra support groups and wellness events.
