Sunlight Development Trust is delighted to announce that its High Hopes Community Garden will be a beneficiary of the Co-op Local Community Fund for the next 12 months The generosity of Co-op members will allow the Trust to replace the unsafe wooden steps up to the garden with a metal staircase, and build a weatherproof log cabin for extra support groups and wellness events.
Sunlight Development Trust will be holding its Annual General Meeting at 9.30am on Saturday 4 December in Room 2 at the Sunlight Centre, 105 Richmond Road, Gillingham ME7 1LX
Last week Café Sunlight held a series of Hallowe’en themed creative activities for local children, including colouring, crafts, cookie decorating and pumpkin carving. All activities were free, and every child received a certificate celebrating their work. The daily events provided families an opportunity to get out of the home and do something fun at no cost to them, which was very welcome.
