Sunlight Development Trust has teamed up with Gillingham Street Angels to bring an opportunity for 6 local people not currently in work to learn new skills and improve their employment prospects. The 12 week course in furniture restoration covers the ‘4Rs’ of furniture maintenance – Repair, Restore, Repurpose and Recycle – and will include practical training in working with wood, metal and upholstery.
